DESCRIPTION
The project was executed for an NRI Client (Parakkadans Agro Mills Group) at the Mookkanur, Angamally, Kerala
CHALLENGES FACED
This Site is in the valley between the hills of Kerala. This structure got erected during the first covid outbreak, so there was a logistical challenge in moving materials and staffing between states during the pandemic. Our entire installation team was stuck up for more than two months and carried out the erection with minimum resources. A 6-meter cantilever canopy was designed and executed successfully. The structure has six numbers of Rafter fixed at the height of 31 meters carried by a crane with a 5-tonne capacity.
RISK MANAGEMENT
The sheet fixing was another challenge under high wind conditions. Despite heavy and continuous seasonal rain, we installed 31 meters height column. We also faced peculiar challenges of cleating wild Bee Honeycomb due to extreme elevation.
