DESCRIPTION
The project was executed for M/s RR Thulasi Builders for the work of new collectorate building. The building comprises of 9 floors RC building above which the final floor is covered by the Arch structure with XLPE Insulation.
CHALLENGES FACED
We carried out the structural installation on the 10th floor of the RCC building useing tower cranes. It was an open terrace, and the structure started from the 4th floor. We used Derrick with a winch for the structural erection instead of a craned erection. The most significant challenge was the erection of the rafters was carried out without any bottom support. Each member was assembled and taken through steel winch rope guided by a pulley system and derrick. We completed the installation by engaging a highly experienced installation team.
