The project posed several challenges, starting with the need to execute fast-track construction after the pedestal execution stage, completing erection and sheet works within just three months. Site painting was particularly challenging due to heavy winds from the southwest monsoon influenced by the Western Ghats, compounded by the bright white RAL 9001 paint consuming nearly double the expected quantity. The central rainwater harvesting system required single-point collection of substantial roof-drained rainwater at each eave, with one side featuring 6-foot-deep SS eave gutters seamlessly finished as an offset fascia, channeling water to a subsidiary tank. On the future expansion side, a specially designed SS valley gutter connected to a large MS header pipe facilitated efficient rainwater drainage. To ensure natural air ventilation, huge louvers replaced full glazing on three sides of the building, with partial glazing at the bottom to allow natural lighting. Despite office mezzanine work being awarded just 30 days before project completion, it was delivered on time. Additionally, the heat treatment plant was executed parallel to the main project, requiring intricate connections to the existing building without disrupting its functionality.
